Phaedra is a four year old medium fawn suri. She is a large
female, but is very calm and easy to handle. She has perfect
conformation with upright posture, good bone mass, and stick
straight legs.
Phaedra's sire is non other then PPeruvian Ganador; one of
the best full Accoyo suri males from the west coast. Ganador
has produced many show winning cria and for years was part of
the foundation of one of the industry's most successful
breeding programs, that of Nola Graham.
Phaedra is a second generation suri. She needs to be bred to
a herdsire that is considered a "pure" suri, which means a suri
herdsire that has never produced a huacaya, to be assured of
a suri cria being born. Phaedra possesses classic suri
phenotype and her 2008 cria is a stunning light fawn suri
female.
She has been bred to Peruvian Rameses Huram, a beautiful
light brown herdsire with great density and luster in his fiber.
His sire is Peruvian Rameses, one of the first great colored
suris to be brought to this country. Phaedra is due early
summer 2009. To sweeten the deal, Phaedra also comes with
a free breeding to any Brandilyn Farm herdsire. We
recommend GLR Saltante, a 4P Condor son.
