The "newest" guy at Brandilyn! Rocky is an up-n-coming
herdsire who just turned two years old and is showing all the
signs of being ready to be a stud.
Rocky is a beautiful medium fawn with dark eyes and dark
toenails. After being shorn for the first time this past spring,
it was discovered he has a palm sized dark fawn spot on his
neck along with a small "fingerprint" dark brown spot next to
it. He also has one other dark brown "fingerprint" on his
opposite side. His fiber is very silky and soft with nice locks.
His conformation is excellent with good size bone and super
straight legs.
Rocky has some amazing genetics! His dam, CHFA Holly
Berry is a patterned, piebald out of the dark brown herdsire,
Tejon who goes back to Fuego. Rocky's sire is Macgyver's
Harley, a dark brown male that is a full brother to Captain
Morgan. Thru his sire, Rocky carries the genetics of
Tillman's famous Acero Markas Rag Top, Accoyo Bruxo, and
of course the famous Macgyver! Luna Rosa Ranch has
since sold Harley, but they have quite a few of his offspring in
their foundation stock.
We hope to be trying Rocky out this fall to see what he can
produce. Stay tuned!
