Brandilyn's first baby for 2008 has finally arrived!
INTRODUCING Jacob's Terraza. She came into
this world unassisted by humans. Mom
purposely waited for me to leave for work before
getting down to business.
Terraza weighed in at an even 21 pounds at birth
and was up and nursing before she was
discovered. She is marked exactly like her
mother with a medium fawn colored topknot and
ears. She has some powerful genetics behind
her with both Ganador and Condor as
grandfathers. Her father, Condor's Jacob is a
beautiful med rose grey appaloosa who's show
career started later for him. This past year he
has been shown three times and has taken a
blue ribbon at each one.
Terraza has tiny penciled locks with a very
greasy, cool feel to them. Her conformation is
excellent as is her bite. For now we're going to
sit back and watch her grow some, mature a little.
She is now a month old and weighs about 50
pounds. She is already eating hay and grain.
She and her buddy, Tuff are rough housing all
the time. They race one another up and back
down the hill. Terraza wins most of the time, but
she better watch it as Tuff gets older!
